How does auto-PO generation work?
Auto-PO generation creates purchase orders automatically when product stock levels fall below configured thresholds:
You configure alert levels for each product at each center: reorder minimum, optimum, default, and desired levels.
When the on-hand quantity for a product falls below its reorder minimum, the product appears in the auto-PO recommendation list.
Navigate to Inventory > Orders to view the recommendations, grouped by vendor.
The system calculates a recommended order quantity for each product.
Select the products and click Create PO to generate purchase orders (one per vendor).
Auto-generated POs are created in Created status. You still need to raise them (individually or in bulk) before they are sent to vendors.
