Set up Kiosk check-in for class package holders

Overview

Zenoti supports check-in on the new Kiosk for class package holders. A class package holder is a guest who holds an active package with class credits or benefits but no membership. The guest checks in with their guest code, then books a class or checks in to a class they already booked. The classes or services displayed on the Kiosk depend on the package benefits and the Kiosk settings for the center.

Use this feature to:

  • Let guests on class packages check in without front desk assistance.

  • Keep the check-in flow consistent for members and package holders.

  • Avoid verifying eligibility at the front desk on every visit for a package-based class.

Enable the setting

  1. At the center level, click the Configurations icon.

  2. Navigate to Fitness > Center Settings > Essentials > Kiosk.

  3. Turn on Allow package holders to check in to a class.

  4. Click Save.

Note: This feature is disabled by default. The new Kiosk must also be enabled for the center. Contact your Zenoti representative to enable the new Kiosk.

How check-in works

  1. On the new Kiosk, the guest enters their guest code.

  2. Zenoti checks for a membership with visit benefits first. If none exists, Zenoti checks for a package with class benefits.

  3. The Kiosk displays the available classes or services.

  4. The guest books a class, or checks in to a class they already booked.

  5. The confirmation screen or auto sign-in screen appears, based on the center settings.

This is a Kiosk check-in for class access.

What the guest can access

The classes or services shown after check-in depend on the package benefits and the Kiosk functionality setting for the center.

Considerations

  • A guest with no membership and no valid package receives an unsuccessful check-in. The Kiosk shows a message asking the guest to reach out to the front desk staff.

  • Classes shown follow the existing class time settings for display before and after the Kiosk check-in time.

  • Confirmation screens match the standard class booking and check-in flow.
