Inline edits and bulk updates for packages
This article explains how to quickly update package details from the Manage packages page in Zenoti. You will learn what can be edited inline, how bulk updates work, and which actions are available at the organization and which are available at the center level.
Overview
The Manage packages page lets you make quick changes across one or many packages without opening each package record. Use inline edits for small, one-off changes and bulk updates to adjust common attributes (tax details, active status, online booking) across many packages in a few clicks.
Key terms
Organization level: Actions/fields that apply across all centers in your organization
Center level: Actions/fields that apply only to the selected center
Manage packages: The page where you can search, filter, and update packages
Online booking: A toggle that controls whether a package is visible for online purchase/booking
Tax group: The tax configuration applied to a package at the center level
Prerequisites
You have the necessary permissions to access Master data and Packages at the organization and/or center level.
Packages have already been created and are visible on the Manage packages page.
After adding packages in Zenoti, you can quickly edit their details from the Manage packages page. If you have a large number of packages, you can use filters to narrow down your search and quickly locate specific packages.
Inline edits
You can quickly edit some package attributes with inline edits. Editable fields like Code, Sale Price, Tax group, and Online booking are indicated by dotted lines when you place the mouse pointer over them.
You can edit Code only at the organization level. Also, you can activate or deactivate a package at this level.
You can edit Sale Price and Online booking only at the center level.
Bulk update
With bulk update, you can adjust tax details, activate or deactivate packages, and make packages available for online booking booking.
To adjust tax details for multiple packages, follow these steps:
At the center level, click the Master data icon.
Click Packages.
From the Manage packages page, select the packages for which you want to adjust the tax details.
Change the Tax group and or click Remove tax group as required.
Click Confirm to save the changes.
To activate multiple packages, follow these steps:
At the organization level, click the Master data icon.
Click Packages.
From the Manage packages page, select the packages you want to activate.
Switch on the Active toggle.
Click Confirm to save the changes.
To deactivate multiple packages, select the desired packages, switch off the Active toggle, and then click Confirm.
To make multiple packages available for online booking, follow these steps:
At the organization level, click the Master data icon.
Click Packages.
From the Manage packages page, select the packages you want to make available for online booking.
Switch on the Online booking toggle.
Click Confirm to save the changes.
To restrict the online availability of multiple packages, select the desired packages, switch off the Online booking toggle, and then click Confirm.
