Recommended barcode scanners and readers
A barcode scanner, also known as a barcode reader, is a device used to capture and read information encoded in a barcode.
Zenoti supports all USB barcode scanners that can scan barcodes into plain text (including Honeywell 1202G and Honeywell 1400G).
Test if your scanner can scan barcodes into plain text
Connect your barcode scanner to your computer.
Install all the recommended scanner software from the respective manufacturer (this may include, for example, a serial driver).
Open a spreadsheet.
Click the cell you want the scanned data to appear in.
Scan a barcode.
If you find the data (such as a series of numbers) for the scanned barcode in the selected cell, your scanner is compatible with Zenoti.
