Zenoti Payments Surcharge lets you pass credit card processing fees to guests who choose to pay by card, in a transparent and compliant way. It works across POS, Webstore, and the Consumer Mobile App (CMA).

What Zenoti shows you
When surcharge is enabled, a Credit Card Surcharge row appears in the Realized Growth section of your dashboard. The value displayed is the total surcharge amount collected — fees your business retained rather than absorbed.
The dashboard also reflects these changes:
The Additional Sales column is now called Additional Sales / Value Realized to accommodate surcharge alongside other realized growth metrics.
Selecting See More opens a graph with the Y-axis labeled Value Realized from Surcharge. Hovering over a data point shows: Value realized from Surcharge: $XX.
Important
Surcharge data is available from August 2025 onwards. Earlier periods will not show data for this row.
How the value is calculated
The value shown is the total surcharge amount collected. Businesses that fully enable surcharging can recover up to 100% of their credit card processing fees.
What you get with Zenoti Surcharge
Compliance by design — Zenoti automatically enforces card network rules and state-level caps, including required disclosures at checkout and on receipts, and automatic exclusion of debit and prepaid cards.
Guest choice — Guests can always skip the surcharge by paying with a debit card or another payment method.
Flexible setup — Enable surcharge across all locations or specific ones, and choose whether to pass the full fee or only a portion to guests.
Seamless checkout — Staff and guests use the same checkout flow as before; the surcharge line item appears automatically on the receipt.
