This article explains how to use HyperConnect on the Zenoti Mobile Application (ZMA) to manage calls and messages efficiently from a mobile device. You will learn how to manage calls and messages on the go, ensuring seamless communication with guests even when away from the front desk.
Overview
HyperConnect on ZMA (available for iOS and Android) allows businesses to stay connected with guests from anywhere. Designed for mobility, it enables team members to handle communications remotely without compromising responsiveness. Whether your team is offsite or away from their desk, HyperConnect ensures seamless guest engagement through voice and messaging tools, directly from their mobile device.
With HyperConnect on ZMA mobile, your teams can:
Receive and place voice calls using VoIP
Send and receive SMS messages
Access saved responses, emojis, and macros when messaging
Transfer or hold calls during active conversations
Access the guest timeline to view interaction history
Manage call logs and apply filters to review past activity
Switch to Do Not Disturb mode when needed
Key terms
VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol): Technology that allows voice calls over internet data rather than traditional phone lines.
Guest timeline: A record of all interactions with a guest including calls, messages, reviews, and notes.
Do Not Disturb (DND): A status that silences notifications and calls temporarily.
Prerequisites
Ensure HyperConnect for ZMA is enabled in your organization’s settings.
How to configure HyperConnect on ZMA
To start using HyperConnect on mobile:
Launch HyperConnect.
Click the Settings icon.
From the Voice tab, switch on the Enable calls on ZMA.
Click Save.
Accessing HyperConnect on ZMA
To launch HyperConnect:
Go to the Appointments screen in ZMA.
Tap the HyperConnect icon.
A badge shows if you have any new notifications.
Conversations Panel
When you open HyperConnect, you land on the Conversations tab. Here you can:
View all recent messages, missed calls, reviews, and call activity.
Tap on a guest name to message or call them.
Use the search bar to find guests by name or number.
Tap the “+” button to start a new text or phone call.
View and reply to messages.
Pin or block a conversation.
Use emojis, macros, and saved replies for quick messaging.
Make and Receive Calls
Answer or place calls directly from the app using VoIP.
During a live call, you can mute, hold, transfer, or end the conversation.
Handle multiple calls by switching between them.
Note
Unlike the desktop version, the mobile app does not show full guest context (such as appointments or memberships) during live calls.
View Call Logs
Tap on the Call Logs tab at the bottom of the screen to review past calls.
Use the search bar to find a call by guest name.
Tap Filters to narrow the list by:
Date range (Today, Last 7 Days, Last Month)
Call type: Inbound, Outbound, Missed
Additional filters: Category, Sentiment, Voicemail Status
Adjust Settings
Go to the More tab icon to:
Enable or disable notifications
Activate Do Not Disturb (DND) mode
