Customizing Notification Settings in MyZen App

This article explains how to manage notification preferences in the MyZen app. These settings help you stay informed about important updates such as appointment changes, guest tips, and daily summaries.

Overview

MyZen's notification settings are designed to help professionals manage their day efficiently. From enabling ZenChat alerts to receiving summaries of appointments and tips, these options allow users to control when and how they receive updates.

Prerequisites
  • Ensure that your device settings allow the MyZen app to send push notifications.

  1. Open your MyZen app and tap Menu

  2. Tap Settings and Preferences

  3. Tap Notifications

  4. Turn on the Enable ZenChat notifications toggle to receive notifications for any new chat messages. 

  5. Turn on the Tips earned toggle to get notified immediately when guests leave a tip for you. 

  6. Turn on the Daily summary options to on: 

    • At the Start of the Day – To receive a summary of scheduled guests for the day.

    • At the End of the Day –To receive a summary of the guests you serviced during the day.

  7. Turn on the Appointment Confirmation toggle to get alerts when guests confirm appointments. 

  8. Turn on the Appointment Cancellation toggle to stay updated on cancellations.

  9. Turn on the Appointment Reschedule toggle to be notified when appointments are rescheduled.

  10. Turn on the Work only mode to receive alerts only on your scheduled workdays.

  11. Tap Update to save your notification preferences.
