Mark room as unavailable during processing time

Use this setting to ensure that a room assigned to an ongoing appointment remains unavailable for any other bookings during the processing segment of that appointment. This helps prevent double-booking scenarios where the room might otherwise appear free during processing time (when the provider is not actively working with the guest).

To enable this setting, follow these steps:

  1. At the organization level, click Configuration.

  2. Navigate to Appointment and Queue Management > Bookings > Service rules.

  3. Switch on the Mark room as unavailable for other bookings during the processing time of an ongoing appointment toggle.

  4. Click Save.
