Configure Employee Summary report

This article explains how to configure the Employee Summary report. Admins can customize which metrics appear in the report, including services, products, guest demographics, and optional performance data such as memberships, packages, and missed membership opportunities. Proper configuration ensures the report displays only the metrics relevant to your business needs.

Overview

The Employee Summary report provides visibility into various aspects of employee performance. While some metrics are always enabled by default, centers can customize additional options to align with their operational focus.

Configuration options are available at the center level and include:

  • Enabling or disabling membership and package sales data

  • Including missed opportunity metrics to evaluate upsell effectiveness

  • Adjusting what data appears in the summary view for more focused reporting

Prerequisites
  • You must have center-level permissions to configure the report.

  • Ensure that your center uses closed invoice data.

Configure the Employee Summary report:
  1. At the center level, navigate to Configuration > Employee > Employee summary report.

  2. From Configure report metrics, select one or more of the following options:

    • Memberships

    • Packages

  3. Click Save.

Considerations
  • Metrics are calculated using only closed invoices.

  • Businesses using open invoice redemption will not see accurate results.

  • Missed membership opportunities only show totals; the report does not list the individual guests included in these numbers.

  • Only first-time membership sales are included when calculating missed opportunities.

  • The report does not provide daily-level details for missed opportunities or for transactions involving split commissions.

  • Based on the selected configurations, three new sections are now included in the Employee summary report:

    • Package details: Summarizes the quantity and commission revenue earned from packages sold.

    • Membership details: Displays the quantity and commission revenue generated from memberships sold by the employee during the selected time frame.

    • Missed membership opportunities: Helps track lost opportunities for membership sales.
