Configure mandatory selection of room for every service

To ensure a room is assigned to each service booked, enable this setting to make sure front-desk staff selects a room for every service.

Enabling this setting will result in a reduced number of booking slots on the Webstore and CMA.

Required roles: Any role with access to the Administrator mode.

Required permissions: None

  1. At the organization or center level, click the Configuration icon.

  2. Search for and select Make it mandatory to select a room for all bookings.

  3. Enable the setting.

  4. Click Save.

To disable compulsory room selection for appointments, turn off the toggle.

Impacts and considerations

  • Prevents double booking of rooms and ensures appointments have the necessary space allocated.

  • Allows assigning appointments to rooms that are best suited for the type of service being offered.

  • Restricts room selection and scheduling options if there are limited room choices, particularly when specific rooms are already booked.
