To configure the following settings. you must have the Enable Create and manage turnaways button enabled.
Select waitlist type for the organization
At the organization level, click the Configurations icon.
Search for and select Waitlist Type. Choose from one of the options:
Manual: Front-desk staff can book guests from the waitlist. Online guests can also add themselves to the waitlist via Webstore and CMA.
First-in-line: Both the front desk and guests can book someone from the waitlist. Guests who respond first to the notification about an available slot will get a confirmed appointment. If you select First-in-line waitlist type, in the Time to respond field, specify within how many minutes the guest must respond to the notification to confirm the appointment.

If you want to include unscheduled providers in the guests' waitlist requests, turn on the toggle for the Enable waitlist request for unscheduled service provider setting. This works for both manual and automated waitlist.
Click Save.
Select waitlist type for the center
At the center level, click the Configurations icon.
Search for and select Waitlist Type. Choose either the default option enabled by the organization or override it.
Use organization default: Select the waitlist type configured at the organization level.
Manual: Front desk can book guest from waitlist. Online guests can also add themselves to the waitlist via Webstore and CMA
First-in-line: Both the front desk and guests can book someone from the waitlist. Guests who respond first to the notification about an available slot will get a confirmed appointment. If you select First-in-line waitlist type, in the Time to respond field, enter the duration of time in minutes within which a guest must respond to the available slot notification to confirm appointment.
If you want to include unscheduled providers in the guests' waitlist requests, turn on the toggle for the Enable waitlist request for unscheduled service provider setting. This works for both manual and automated waitlist. This feature is not supported across all online booking platforms, such as Webstore and CMA.
Click Save.
