Number of Service Hours
Num. of Service Hours shows the actual hours your employees spent servicing clients. It sums the serviced time recorded against each employee’s schedule for the day, subtracts any recovery time set on the services performed, and converts the result from minutes into hours (rounded to 2 decimals).
Num. of Service Hours = (Total serviced minutes - Total recovery minutes) ÷ 60
Serviced and recovery time are taken from each employee’s schedule records for the day (per employee, per center).
Recovery time (post-service recovery configured on a service) is excluded — only time actually spent servicing the client counts.
This differs from Production Hours, which is based on checked-in work-task hours, and from Scheduled Hours, which is based on rostered time.
Example
On May 2, a therapist performs services totaling 7 hours 30 minutes (450 minutes). The services performed carry a combined recovery time of 30 minutes. Num. of Service Hours for the therapist = (450 - 30) ÷ 60 = 7.00 hours. If three employees record the same numbers, the center shows 21.00 hours.
