Productive Utilization

Productive Utilization in ezPulse measures the percentage of stylist production time that was actually spent performing services. It shows how efficiently your service providers’ working hours were used for revenue-generating activities. 

The metric is calculated as Actual Service Hours ÷ Stylist Production Hours. Higher productive utilization indicates that more of your team’s scheduled time is being spent delivering services instead of waiting or performing non-productive tasks. 

Productive Utilization= Actual Service Hours / Stylist Production Hours 

Example: If your stylists logged 24 total production hours, and 18 of those hours were spent performing actual services, then: 

Productive Utilization = (18 ÷ 24) × 100 = 75% 

This means 75% of your team’s production time was actively used for providing services.
