How does invoice closure affect packages?
Scenario 1: Invoice is closed
When the invoice is closed, package-related updates are finalized:
If a package is being purchased on the invoice: The package becomes effective (active/usable) after the invoice is closed.
If services on the invoice are redeemed using an active package: The package balance is adjusted after the invoice is closed.
Scenario 2: Invoice is not closed
When the invoice is not closed, package-related updates are not finalized yet:
If a package is being purchased on the invoice: The package does not become effective yet; it remains pending until the invoice is closed.
If services on the invoice are redeemed using an active package: The package balance is not adjusted yet; the deduction is finalized only when the invoice is closed.
