Group Bookings on New Kiosk
Overview
Group booking on the Kiosk allows guests to book appointments for multiple people in a single self-service session. A host guest can add up to five additional guests, assign services to each, review the full group booking, and complete check-in for everyone, all from the kiosk, without staff involvement. This reduces front desk workload during peak hours and delivers a faster, more seamless arrival experience for groups.
Prerequisites
Before guests can use group booking at the kiosk, an admin must enable the feature in Zenoti configuration. Ensure the following:
You have admin access to Zenoti configuration settings.
The kiosk is set up and running on the new kiosk experience.
The Allow guests to book new appointments toggle is already enabled under kiosk booking settings.
Limitations
A group booking can include a maximum of 6 guests (one host plus five additional guests).
Additional guests added without a Zenoti profile are treated as walk-ins. Their data is captured by name only and is not linked to an existing guest record.
The host cannot be removed from the group booking once the session has started.
Group booking on the kiosk is not available if the Enable Group booking toggle is turned off in configuration.
Enable group booking on the kiosk
To allow guests to make group bookings from the kiosk, turn on the group booking setting in Zenoti.
Go to Configuration > Appointment and Queue Management > Kiosk > Bookings.
Turn on the Enable Group booking toggle.
Click Save.
Once enabled, the Add another guest option appears on the guest-facing kiosk booking screen.
Book appointments as a group from the kiosk
The following steps describe the guest experience when making a group booking from the kiosk.
The guest enters their phone number on the kiosk welcome screen to log in.
The guest selects a service from the catalog.
The guest selects a stylist preference. For example, first available, next available by gender, or a preferred stylist.
On the Review your selection screen, the guest taps Add another guest.
In the Group Booking Details panel, the guest enters the first and last name of each additional member.
To assign the host's service to all guests automatically, the guest turns on the Same service for everyone? toggle.
The guest taps Add guest.
The guest repeats steps 5–7 for each additional member. A group can include a maximum of six guests, the host plus five additional guests.
The guest taps Confirm Adding Guests.
On the Review Group Booking screen, the guest reviews the service, stylist preference, and price listed for each member. The running total including tax is displayed at the bottom.
To edit a guest's service, the guest taps the edit icon next to their name.
To add another guest, the guest taps Add guest.
The guest taps Continue check-in. If the host's profile has incomplete fields and the prompt-for-missed-profile-information setting is enabled, a Complete your guest profile screen appears. The guest enters the required details and taps Save and confirm check-in.
Note: If an additional guest does not have a Zenoti profile, they can be added by name only, no phone number or email address is required. They are treated as walk-in guests.
Check in as a group from the kiosk
After the group booking is confirmed, each guest checks in individually from the shared kiosk screen.
On the Who's checking in? screen, the guest taps their name.
If a missing intake form warning appears, the guest completes the required form before proceeding.
The guest confirms their check-in.
Each remaining guest repeats steps 1–3 when they arrive.
Once a guest checks in, they move to the Other guests — Checked in section. Guests who have not yet checked in remain as active buttons.
After all guests are checked in, the kiosk displays a Check-in complete! screen and automatically returns to the welcome screen. All guests in the group appear in the queue.
