Allow Automatic Commission Splitting

As an administrator, you can enable the Automatic Commission Splitting feature to automatically divide commissions equally among multiple employees involved in a sale. This applies to sales of products, memberships, packages, gift cards, and prepaid cards.

Note

This feature does not apply to services and day packages.

To enable this feature, follow these steps:

  1. At the organization level, click Configuration.

  2. Navigate to POS > Commission gains. 

  3. Switch on the Enable auto split for commissions by default toggle.

  4. Click Save.

To disable this feature, switch off the Enable auto split for commissions by default toggle.

Impacts and considerations:

  • If this feature is enabled, the Split commission equally checkbox is selected by default in the Multiple Employee Commissions screen.

  • If this feature is disabled, the Split commission equally checkbox remains visible in the Multiple Employee Commissions screen but is not selected, allowing the front-desk staff to manually split commissions.
