Gift cards

Gift card redemption is based on the center where it is redeemed, irrespective of where it was purchased. For gift cards, the value-based approach is used for sales calculations. For example, a gift card worth $100 can be used for $200 worth of services. If you redeem $100 worth of services, that amount corresponds to $50 of the gift card’s value. Therefore, the value of the sale or redemption is $50.

Prepaid cards are also considered for this analysis.
