Allow package price changes when versioning is disabled
From time to time, you may need to edit a package. For instance, you might add or remove services or change the price of the package. This can lead to accounting and inventory issues. Consider this example. You have a package in which you offer three services. The package is priced at $500. You decide to add or remove a service from the package. What happens to people who bought the package before the change? Or if you change the price of the package and someone who purchased the package at the old price asks for a refund, how would you account for the price difference? Versioning is a way to solve this problem. Now, when you edit the package, it retains the old version with its connections while making only the new version available for sale.
