Advanced marketing

Overview of advanced marketing

Advanced Campaigns is a feature that you can use to increase your revenue by having Zenoti do the marketing automatically for you.

When you enable Advanced Campaigns, depending on your revenue goal, Zenoti analyzes your guests and Appointment Book and sends targeted, personalized email campaigns.

The campaigns are usually targeted to fill:

  • Last-minute openings: Automatically promotes last-minute openings

  • Slow days: Encourage your guests to book on slow days to keep your staff engaged

Zenoti then measures the effectiveness of the campaigns daily and automatically alters the campaigns to give you the best chance of meeting your revenue goal and make optimal use of your employees' time.

Advanced marketing dashboard

The Advanced Marketing dashboard helps measure the effectiveness of advanced marketing campaigns that are live.

  1. At the organization or center level, from the main menu, navigate to Marketing > Advanced Marketing > Dashboard.

  2. Enter the attribution time frame (in days). The attribution time is the number of days after campaign delivery for which the attribution rules will apply. Enter a value between 1 to 14.

  3. Click Continue.

  4. On the top right, you can select any of Zenoti’s predefined time periods such as Last Month, Month to Date, Quarter to Date, or Year to Date. However, if you want to manually specify a date range, select Custom.

    Note

You can only specify a custom date range of up to one month.

  5. On the top left, you can choose whether you want to view results (bookings and revenue) by Theme or by Center.

    Note

If you are viewing the report at the center level, you will only be able to view results by theme for that center.

  6. To download marketing data related to campaigns in a report, on the top right, click the Campaigns button. Select the desired date range and click Download. The campaigns summary report includes key campaign details such as discounts, email counts, bookings, total revenue, and revenue distribution across services, products, packages, memberships, and gift cards.

  7. To download invoice details, click the Invoice button. The revenue in the invoice will add up to the closed revenue across all themes that Zenoti charges you for (the themes in purple are not counted as they are currently free of charge).

    • Ranked revenue by campaign panel

E-mail blasts can be configured to be sent to all guests on a specific day. SMS blasts must be throttled over a period of ‘X’ days wherein ‘X’ depends on the eligible guests in the target segment. We recommend a maximum of 2 e-mail blasts in a month for the regular campaigns to show results.

The ‘Special Promotion’ tag will be visible only if the selected guest is eligible for the promotion and if the promotion is still valid. To view the list of eligible guests, you can also use the Click here to export the guest-level details of emails/texts sent option on the advanced marketing dashboard themes and campaigns panel.

Can I change the target segment, incentive, SMS/e-mail on a live campaign?

Advanced marketing is a managed service and you cannot access these settings. Please contact your Zenoti representative.

Can advanced marketing automatic discounts be applied to products?

Advanced marketing offers automatic discounts only on services. Discounts have to be applied in-store for products, memberships, and packages.
