Manage target segments

Modify existing target segments

  1. At the organization or center level, go to Marketing > Target segments.

  2. To find a specific target segment, enter the segment name in the search field at the top of the page.

  3. In the Segment Name column, select the target segment.

  4. Make necessary changes and click Save.

Note

At center level, you cannot modify or delete target segments created at the organization level or zone level.

At zone level, you cannot modify or delete a target segment created at the organization level. However, you can modify or delete segments created in your zone.

At the organization level, you can modify or delete all target segments.

  1. Click Delete.

  2. On the confirmation dialogue box, click Yes.

Click Export.

Note

When dealing with large volumes of data, exporting the guest details may take longer than expected. In such scenarios, through an alert popup, you can choose to receive the details through an email.

To do this, after clicking Export, when the alert popup appears, click Send Email.

Get guest count

Click Guest Count.

To do this, after clicking Guest Count, when the alert popup appears, click Send Email. The exported file contains the count of total guests and guests eligible for email and SMS communication.

Alternatively, after step 2, check the number displayed under the Guest Count column for the target segment.

At the top-right corner of the page, click Select columns to display to choose which columns appear and set their order.

From the list of segments in the table, click Export next to the segment you want to download.

Identify your top spending customers

Understanding which guests drive the most revenue helps you tailor marketing campaigns, reward high-value relationships, and prioritize retention efforts.

  1. At the organization or center level, go to Marketing > Target segments.

  2. To create a new target segment, click Add.

  3. On the Create a New Segment page, click Create custom target segment.

  4. Add a name and description. Click Create.

  5. From the category drop-down list, select Spend.

  6. From the criteria drop-down list, select Total Spend.

  7. Select and operator and enter a value.

  8. Click Add Rule.

  9. Click Guest Count.

    Zenoti calculates and displays the number of guests who currently meet all the rules. If the count seems unexpectedly high or low, review your rules and adjust the spend threshold or recency window accordingly.

  10. Click Save to save the target segment.

  11. From the Manage Target Segments page, click Export against the new target segment to export the guest list to Excel or CSV.

To send a targeted communication, for example, an exclusive discount to your top spenders, create a new campaign with your saved segment as the recipient list.

Note

You can also find your top spenders using the Sales - Accrual report (v2). Set you date, item, and invoice status filters, group the data by guest, and export the report data. Use sort and filter options for further analysis.
