Create product category and subcategory
In Zenoti, you can organize similar products under a parent category. After you create a parent category, you can create sub-categories and assign them to the parent category. For instance, facial products could be assigned to the "facial care" parent category.
At the organization level, click the Configuration icon.
Search for and select Product categories from the Products section.
To add a new parent product category, click Add.
Enter the general details such as category name, category code, and description.
To mark a product category as primary, from the Parent Category drop-down list select None.
To mark a product as a subcategory, from the Parent Category drop-down list select the required category. The subcategory is added under the parent category.
For example: If you create two products named "Hair Care" and "Hair Cut," you can designate "Hair Care" as the parent category for the product "Hair Cut" by selecting it from the Parent Category drop-down list.
To include the category in the digital listing of items, select the Show in digital catalog checkbox.
To set the display order of this category on both the Webstore V1 and the Customer Mobile App (via linked ipage), in the Display Order field enter the value. The order value begins with 0.
For example, if you enter 0 as the display order for the category "Skin Care, it will appear as the first item in the products list on the Webstore and CMA.
Click Save.

To add a new brand, click Add.
To edit an existing brand, select the brand from the available list.

Add vendors
Zenoti allows you to maintain a comprehensive list of vendors that supply products to your organization. When you create a vendor account, you enter information about the vendor that is used to automatically populate purchase orders created for the vendor and to track product deliveries and returns.
At the organization level, click the Configuration icon.
Search for and select Vendors from the Products section.
Click Add.
Enter the required details such as vendor name, vendor code, phone number, and email address.
Enter the vendor's CST number, an indirect tax on goods sold across states when the buyer and seller are in different states.
Enter the vendor's Taxpayer’s Identification Number (TIN).
Click Next.
On the Products page, specify the products supplied by the vendor.
Click Finish.
Impacts and considerations
Ensure that your organization has configured a list of products used or sold at your organization or center.
Assign products to vendors
Before you start raising orders, you must associate a product with at least one vendor. You can also associate a product with multiple vendors in case you get a single product from multiple suppliers.
The Products tab of the Vendor page allows you to set up a center-specific association between vendors and products by listing all the products supplied by the vendor, including prices and any applicable discounts.
Important
While raising purchase orders to vendors, you can only raise orders from centers that have the vendor-product association.
Before you begin, ensure that your organization has configured products and vendors.
At the organization level, click the Configuration icon.
Search for and select Vendors from the Products section.
Click the name of the vendor to whom you want to assign products.
Select the Products tab.
Click the +Product button.
Based on whether you want to maintain the same price, discount, and tax group for the product across multiple centers, do one of the following:
Option 1: Maintain the same (default) price, discount, and tax group across multiple centers
In the Product field, enter the name or code of the product (as configured in your organization) and select a match from the list of suggestions.
In the Center(s) field, select the centers in which the product-vendor association will be applicable.
Tip
To make the vendor-product association applicable at all centers, select Check All.
Select Set same price, discount, tax group for all centers.
Click Show.
You can see the centers selected if the product is associated with them.
In the Copy to below centers field, specify the price, discount, or tax group, and click the copy icon.
Note
You can choose to copy just the price, discount, or the tax group for the selected centers.
The values you specify for the price, discount, or tax group are copied individually across all selected centers.
Important
The tax group is copied only to those centers that have selected tax group assigned for Inventory. For example, in the tax group field, if you select Service Tax and copy it to all the centers, the tax group is copied to the South Granville and Kensignton only because the Service Tax is selected for these centers for inventory.
Option 2: Add different prices, discounts, or tax groups
In the Product field, enter the name or code of the product (as configured in your organization) and select a match from the list of suggestions.
In the Center(s) field, select the centers in which the product-vendor association will be applicable.
Tip
To make the product-vendor association applicable at all centers, select Check All.
Click Show.
Specify the Price and any applicable Discount or Tax Group for each center.
Click Submit.
Add vendor product part number
A product can have multiple codes assigned to it. A vendor product part number serves as a unique identifier used by the vendor.
At the organization level, click the Configuration icon.
Navigate to Products > Vendors.
Click the vendor name.
Click the Products tab.
For the desired product, enter the vendor product part number which may contain alphanumeric characters.
Click Save.
