Alerts on the visits page
The Visits page includes enhanced alerts and notifications to help front-desk staff manage guest check-ins more efficiently. These notifications and alerts highlight membership status, payment issues, and check-in restrictions, ensuring that staff can address concerns quickly and accurately.
These notifications provide visual indicators with color-coded highlights, icons, and tooltips that make it easier to identify and resolve issues during guest check-in. Alerts appear directly on guest or member entries in the Recent Check-ins and All Check-ins sections of the Visits page.
Color coding for notifications
The color of a guest and member notification shows how urgent or important an issue is. This color also appears on the guest’s profile photo and entry on the Visits page, making it easy for front-desk staff to spot problems quickly. This helps staff prioritize tasks and address potential problems before they escalate.

The table below lists guest notifications that appear on the Visits page. Each notification displays the guest’s membership status or required actions, with highlight colors to help front desk staff respond quickly and efficiently.

Remote Guest + Collect Payment | The member is a visiting guest (non-home member) and must purchase a day pass to access the current studio or club. | Red |
[Membership name] - Guest Pass | The guest who has checked in on a guest pass for a particular membership. The guest does not have that membership, but rather a guest pass on the membership, the value is displayed as "[membership_name] - Guest Pass", for example, Black Card - Guest Pass Guest pass check-in history reflects the initial check-in method, even if the guest pass user subsequently purchases a membership. This ensures an accurate record of their check-in history. The membership details get updated during the next check-in. | NA |
Alerts for unsuccessful check-in
A guest or member's check-in may be unsuccessful in certain scenarios. For such instances, the Visits page records this unsuccessful check-in without checking the member in. The failed check-in and its corresponding reason are recorded for future reference. The following alerts are displayed on the Visits page, and the reason for unsuccessful check-ins is saved for audit and internal use.

No Guest Pass | It has a similar status as no membership. |
Guest Pass Expired | The guest has received a guest pass, but it is no longer valid. |
Guest Pass Center Issue | This alert appears when a guest attempts to check in with a guest pass with no center. |
Host Not Checked In | Guest check-in with the guest pass is blocked if the center requires the host to check in first. |
Visits Exceeded | When a member has used all their visit credits for the current billing period, Zenoti blocks member check-in due to a lack of enough visit credits. The visits page displays a POS link with an invoice for the member. The front desk can sell a day pass to facilitate the member visit. |
Daily Visits Exceeded | If a membership has a limit on daily visits and a member has consumed all their visit credits for the current day, Zenoti blocks check-in because the member does not have enough visit credits. The front desk staff can renew the membership or issue a day pass using the POS link on the visits page. |
Visits disabled | Access to the Visits page is disabled for the center. |
Remote Guest + Day Pass | This status appears for guests who have cross-center redemption disabled. These guests can't redeem their membership at this center. |
Membership frozen with benefits and cannot be redeemed | Check-in fails because the membership is frozen. During the freeze period, the member cannot redeem visit credits or access any membership benefits. |
Alerts on Kiosk and ZMA
Alerts on the Visits page are synchronized with your studio’s self-service Kiosk and the Zenoti Mobile App (ZMA). This ensures a consistent experience across platforms and keeps staff informed, even during guest self-check-ins.
