Gift Cards report (v2)

Marketing managers can use this report to view the top-selling services sold as gift cards in a month.

Accountants can use this report to view the sales and redemptions on gift cards and the revenue generated from expired and one-time gift cards.

Note

If you generate the report based on the Balance As On Date filter, you will not see the gift cards that are sold after this date.

  • At the organization or center level, click the Reports icon.

  • Search and select the required report by entering the report name.

  • If the report has many columns, scroll horizontally to the right or left to view all columns.

  • To view specific data on the report, select the desired filters. For more information, refer to report features on Zenoti.

  • Click Refresh.

    If you generate the report for over a year, click the Email button.

    Sale Center

    Center in which the gift card was sold

    Invoice#

    Invoice on which the gift card was sold

    Gift Card#

    Gift card number

    Gift Card Name

    Name of the gift card

    Guest Name

    Guest who purchased the gift card

    Type

    Type of gift card

    • Amount-based: Gift cards with a specific amount

    • Service-based: Gift cards worth specific services

    • Bonus: Promotional gift cards

    Sale Date

    Date on which the gift card was sold

    Expiry Date

    Date on which the gift card is set to expire; if the gift card is set to not expire, you will see No Expiry in this column.

    Sales

    Sale price of the gift card after applying discount

    Sales(Inc. Tax)

    Final sale price (including tax) of the gift card after applying discount

    Service Part of Gift Cards

    For service-based gift cards, name of services, day packages, or service categories on the gift card

    Value

    Amount on the gift card

    - Liability Type is Sale Price, the worth of the gift card is the sale price

    - Liability Type is Value, the worth of the gift card is the value

    Redeemed Value

    Amount redeemed on the gift card

    Based on the Liability Type that you select while generating the report, the redeemed value of the gift card can be as follows,

    • Liability Type is Sale Price, the amount on the gift card is apportioned to the sale price. For a $200 gift card, worth $250, if the guest purchases a $125 item, Value is $100.

    • Liability Type is Value, the amount on the gift card is the value. In our example, Value is $125. Based on Date Type, the value of the gift card is defined as follows,

    Based on the date filter, the value in this column can be:

    • Sale Date: Total amount on the gift card that was redeemed till the current date

    • Balance As On Date: Total amount on the gift card that was redeemed till the selected date

    • Expiry Date Total amount on the gift card that was redeemed till the current date

    Expired Value

    Amount on the gift card that has expired

    Balance Value

    • If the date type is set to Sale Date or Expiry Date, it displays the current balance in the gift card.

    • If the date type is set to Balance As On Date, it displays the opening balance as on the selected date.

    Gift Card Status

    Status of the gift card

    Invoice Status

    Status of the invoice

    Receipt No

    Receipt on which full payment was received for the gift card

    Guest Code

    Unique code that identifies the guest

    Occasion

    Occasion associated with the gift card

    Sold By

    Employee who sold the gift card

    One-time Use

    Gift card can be used only once or not

    Sender Name

    Guest who purchased the gift card

    Sender Email

    Email address of the guest who has purchased the gift card

    Recipient Email

    Email address of the guest who will receive the gift card

    Source

    Source from which the gift card was purchased

    Activation date

    Date on which the gift card is activated. It helps in reviewing redemptions for accurate tax calculations.
