Commissionable product amount
Commissionable product amount measures the total value of retail product sales that are eligible for commission payout. It reflects the product revenue earned by providers, excluding tax, while including commissionable discounts.
The metric is calculated as Product Sales (excluding tax) plus Commissionable Discounts.
This ensures that providers receive commission credit for approved discounts that are marked as commissionable.
Commissionable Product Amount = Product Sales (excluding tax) + Commissionable Discounts
Example: If a retail product is priced at $80, and a $10 discount is applied that is marked as commissionable, and tax is $6, then:
Commissionable Product Amount = $80
The tax is excluded from the calculation, and because the discount is commissionable, the commission is calculated on the full $80 rather than the discounted amount paid by the client. This means the provider earns commission based on the original product value, ensuring fair compensation even when approved promotional discounts are applied.
