How inventory permissions are organized
Inventory permissions are actions granted against a permissions group via the Role Permissions screen (Configuration > Security > Security Roles). There are eight permissions groups relevant to inventory — the rest of this article lists the actions available on each.

Inventory | Core inventory operations: stock, purchase orders, transfer orders, audits, reconciliation, adjustments |
Products | Product master data management (create, edit, delete, vendor associations) |
Inventory Reports (V2) | The six modern reports on the V2 reporting framework |
Reports Inventory | Legacy (V1) inventory reports that have not yet migrated to V2 |
Import/Export | Bulk import and export operations |
Export Inventory | Inventory-specific export permissions |
Marketplace | Vendor catalog marketplace access |
BOM | Bill of Materials reporting |
