The Allow sale at any stock level setting
By default, Zenoti blocks sales and consumption when on-hand quantity is zero. The Allow sale at any stock level center-level setting overrides this behavior:
Setting state | Behavior |

Disabled (default) | The system prevents POS (Point of Sale) sales and service consumption when the product has zero or insufficient stock at the center. Staff sees a stock validation error. |
Enabled | The system allows transactions regardless of stock level. On-hand quantity can go negative. |
Centers enable this setting when they prioritize uninterrupted guest service over strict stock enforcement — for example, when deliveries are frequent and stock-outs are temporary. Each center can independently enable or disable this setting.
