Set a facility schedule and blockout
The Schedule tab defines when a facility is open for bookings and when it is unavailable. Without a schedule defined, the facility does not appear as available in the appointment book. Use the Schedule option to set operating hours for a specific date, and the Blockout option to reserve time for maintenance, cleaning, private events, or other closures. Both schedules and blockouts can be copied forward across multiple consecutive days, which saves time when setting up a new facility or planning recurring closures.
To set a facility schedule:
At the center level, navigate to Configurations > Business Details.
Select Business Setup > Facilities.
Click the facility name to open it.
Click the Schedule tab.
Select the Schedule radio button.
Use the arrow buttons on the date picker to move between dates, or click the calendar icon to select a specific date.
Select the Start Time and End Time from the dropdowns.
Click Add. The entry appears in the list below showing the Date, Start Time, and End Time.
You can add multiple time windows for the same date by repeating steps 6 through 8. For example, a morning window and an afternoon window are each added as separate entries. To remove a schedule entry, click the trash icon next to it in the list.
To copy a schedule to additional days:
If the same operating hours apply across multiple consecutive days, use Copy schedule to apply a schedule entry forward without adding each day manually.
Add at least one schedule entry for the date you want to copy from, following the steps above.
Click Copy schedule on the left side of the Schedule tab.
Enter the number of consecutive days to apply the same schedule. You can copy for up to 999 days.
Click Next, then Proceed.
To create a blockout:
A blockout prevents both staff and guest bookings during a specific time window. All amenities linked to the facility become unavailable for the duration of the blockout.
Click the Schedule tab on the facility record.
Select the Blockout radio button at the top of the tab.
Use the date picker to navigate to the blockout date.
Select the Start Time from the dropdown.
From Block out type, select the reason for the closure, for example, Maintenance. The End Time is determined by the block-out type and appears automatically in the list after the entry is added.
Click Add. The entry appears in the list showing the Date, Start Time, End Time, and Block Out Type.
To remove a blockout entry, click the trash icon to the right of it in the list.
To copy a blockout to additional days:
If the same closure applies across multiple consecutive days, use Copy blockout to apply the entry forward without adding each date separately. The button is on the left side of the Schedule tab when the Blockout radio button is selected. It becomes active once you select a blockout entry from the list.
Select the blockout entry from the list by clicking the checkbox next to it.
Click Copy blockout on the left side of the Schedule tab.
Enter the number of consecutive days. You can copy for up to 999 days.
Click Next, then Proceed.
