Configure Inventory Labels Across Zenoti

This article explains how to configure inventory labels in Zenoti to reflect your organization’s internal terminology. This customization enhances clarity, consistency, and usability across modules like POS, Mobile POS, My Zen, and Reports.

Overview

Zenoti allows administrators to customize labels used across all inventory modules, enabling businesses to align the terminology with internal processes or regional preferences. Whether you refer to "inventory audits" as "Stock Take" or "Audit", this feature provides flexibility for multi-location or international businesses to unify internal communications and reduce confusion.

Prerequisites

Ensure that you are configuring this at the Organization level, not at the center level.
All dropdown options are predefined by Zenoti and cannot be edited beyond selection.

To customize the labels used in your inventory modules:

At the organization level, navigate to Configuration > Inventory > Labels. On the Labels page, update the values for each label type.
In the Label for MRP field, manually enter your preferred label name (e.g., MSRP or RRP).
For Label for Products Used in Services, select a value from the dropdown: Professional, Backbar, or Consumable.
For Label for Inventory Audits, choose from the dropdown: Stock Take, Stock Count, or Audit.
For Label for Reorder Minimum Level, select either Minimum or Alert from the dropdown.
For Label for Reorder Optimum Level, select a value: Optimal, Target, or Desired.
For Label for Default Reorder Quantity, choose between Default or Order.
Click Save.

Once saved, your selected labels will appear across:

POS
Mobile POS
Reports
MyZen

Considerations

These label changes apply organization-wide and cannot be customized at the center level.
The customization does not impact system logic—only label display.
