Advance (Before starting the appointment) | On the Queue, click the Services Pending section. Select the guest form whom you want to take the payment in advance. Click the POS icon on the appointment block. On the confirmation dialog box, click Yes to take payment. On the Take Payment window, add the payment.
| CautionDo not close the invoice after you take the payment. Invoice must be closed after the services are rendered and after the appointment is marked as Complete. |
Auto-Pay (After starting the appointment) | To start the appointment and authorize the saved card, on the Queue, click Check In. When the service is over, to collect the payment, click Checkout with Autopay. On the Take Payment window, add the payment. The invoice is closed automatically.
| At step 1, if the card authorization fails, to take payment in-store, on the dialog box, click the Take Payment option. The Checkout with Autopay option can be seen for guests who have enrolled in auto-pay on Webstore or CMA. If a guest enrolls for auto-pay after creating an appointment but before the service starts, you can click to view the auto-pay option. If the guest does not want to auto pay for the appointment, click the POS icon on the appointment block to take payment using a different card or payment option. At the top-right of the screen, click to view the pending and failed auto-pay notifications.

Checkout (After completing the appointment) | On the Queue, click the Services in Progress section. Select the completed appointment. Click Checkout. On the Take Payment window, add the payment. Close the invoice.

Group Checkout (After completing the appointment) | On the Queue, click the Services in Progress section. Look for the appointment block with the label Group beneath the guest name. Mark the appointment block as Completed. Click Checkout to take payment. On the Take Payment window, add the payment. Close the invoice.
| If the services for the entire group are not completed, you can either choose to wait or proceed with taking the payment. |
