Create opportunity categories

At the organization level, Categories > Opportunities, you can create the following opportunity categories:

Call dispositions

In call center terminology, a call disposition is an outcome of a call, such as 'Call me back after a day', 'Not interested', or 'Tell me more'

  • Call back after a day

  • Not interested

  • Interested

  • Call Disconnected

  • Redirected to Voice Call

  • Blocked Number

  • Do not Disturb (DnD) number

Stages of sale or opportunity

Opportunity stages are high level phases of a sale or opportunity with a prospective customer. Zenoti provides the following default sales stages, which cannot be deleted (but can be inactivated): 

  • Lead

  • Prospect

  • Active

  • On Hold

  • Won

  • Lost

  • Identified potential prospect

  • Initiated conversation

  • Qualified lead

  • Requested for referral

Sources of sales opportunities

A source is the channel through which a sales opportunity originated.

  • Instagram

  • Facebook

  • Newspaper

  • Ads in online news channels

  • LinkedIn ads

  1. At the organization level, click the Configuration icon.

  2. Navigate to Categories > Opportunities, and then select the sub-menu.

  3. Click Add.

  4. Enter the required details.

  5. Click Finish.

Perform these steps

Create call dispositions

  1. At step 2, select Dispositions.

  2. On the Manage Dispositions page, click Add.

  3. On the Create New Dispositions page, enter name, description, and follow up days.

  4. Click Finish.

Create the stages of a sale or opportunity

  1. At step 2, select Stages.

  2. On the Manage Opportunity Stages page, click Add.

  3. On the Opportunity Stage page, enter code, name, description, order, and indicate that the stage is active.

  4. Click Finish.

List the sources of sales opportunities

  1. At step 2, select Source.

  2. On the Manage Opportunity Sources List view, click Add.

  3. On the Create Opportunity Source page, enter the details, such as code, name, description, optional fields, and then indicate that the stage is active.

  4. Click Finish.
