Integrate digital glue with Zenoti
Digital Glue (Blackhawk) provides a platform for businesses to create and distribute digital gift cards to their customers. These gift cards can be redeemed online or in-store, depending on the retailer. After integrating Digital Glue with Zenoti, at the organization level and center level, you can sell gift cards provided by Digital Glue.
To activate the Enable Third Party Gift Card Integration setting, reach out to Zenoti. Once activated proceed to configure it accordingly.
Digital Glue integration at the organization level
At the organization level, navigate to Admin > Organizations > Organization > Integrations.
Expand Gift Cards.
From the list of providers, select Blackhawk.
Click Continue.
Enter the API URL, API alias, username, and password.
To ensure that the information that you entered is valid, click Test Connection.
Click Save.
Digital Glue integration at the center level
At the center level, navigate to Admin > Organizations > Center> Integrations.
Expand Gift Cards.
From the list of providers, select Blackhawk.
Click Continue.
Enter store code.
To ensure that the information that you entered is valid, click Test Connection.
Click Save.
Sell a Digital Glue gift card
After you integrate Digital Glue gift cards, you can only sell gift cards from the list of gift cards provided by Digital Glue.
Launch the Point of Sale (POS) window.
In the guest details section at the top of the POS window, enter the guest details.
Click the Gift Card tab.
Enter the relevant details, such as card number (from the list from Digital Glue), gift card type, price, value, and sale by.
Select the expiry of the gift card.
Click Add Gift Card.
Collect payment and close the invoice.
The sale gets reflected in Digital Glue after you close the invoice.
Redeem a Digital Glue gift card
Launch the POS from the appointment book.
In the guest details section at the top of the POS, enter either the mobile number, email address, first name, or last name of the guest, and select a matching record from the list of suggestions.
If the guest record does not exist in the system, then create a new guest record.
In the lower-left pane of the POS screen, select the service or package and add it to the invoice.
In the Collect Payment section, select Prepaid/Gift as the payment option.
In the Card # field, enter the gift card number manually.
Click Add Payment.
The guest needs to pay any remaining service tax amount, tips and gratuity using another mode of payment. Choose the payment method to take any remaining payment.
Note
The Collect Payment section reflects the pending amount.
Close the invoice.
Other items such as products, services, packages (except schedule packages), and memberships can be added to the sale invoice. The following cases are supported for selling third-party gift cards alongside other items on the same invoice:
Editing the gift card sale invoice date is supported. It will only affect Zenoti and not the Digital Glue API.
Refunding other items except gift card line items is allowed.
Reopen of sale gift card invoices is supported without considering redemptions.
Block sale invoice reopen if bonus gift card is present.
The following cases are not supported for selling third-party gift cards alongside other items on the same invoice:
Void or deletion of sale gift card invoices is not supported. The invoice needs to be reopend and other items in the invoice can be deleted but not the gift card line item.
The addition of scheduled packages to external gift card sale invoice is not supported.
