Configure OTP settings

Centers can configure settings to secure redemptions using OTP verification. These settings allow centers to:

  • Enforce mandatory OTP validation when guests wish to redeem memberships, packages, or loyalty points

  • Configure an override code for scenarios that are exceptions.

Make it mandatory to use an OTP for redemptions

To enable this setting, follow these steps:

  1. At the center level, click Configuration.

  2. Navigate to POS > Financials > Pricing and discount.

  3. Switch on the Make it mandatory to use an OTP for redemptions toggle.

  4. Click Save.

Enter a code with which you can override the OTP

To enable this setting, follow these steps:

  1. At the center level, click Configuration.

  2. Navigate to POS > Financials > Pricing and discount.

  3. Enter a six digit code.

  4. Click Save.

Set daily limit for OTP overrides for check-ins and invoice closures

To set a daily limit for OTP overrides, follow these steps:

  1. At the center level, click Configuration.

  2. Navigate to POS > Financials > Pricing and discount.

  3. Enter the maximum number of OTP overrides allowed per day.

  4. Click Save.

Note

The override count resets to the configured daily limit at midnight, based on the center’s local time.

For example, if the admin sets a limit of 6 overrides, the center can override OTPs up to 6 times in a day. At midnight, the count resets, and the center can use up to 6 overrides again the next day.

Required role permissions:

The Exceed OTP Override Limit for check-in & Invoice closure permission in Security > Security roles > Appointments Book > OTP Override must be enabled.
