Commissionable service amount

Commissionable service amount measures the total value of service sales that are eligible for commission payout. It reflects the service revenue earned by providers, excluding tax, while including commissionable discounts. The metric is calculated as Service Sales (excluding tax) plus Commissionable Discounts. This ensures that providers receive commission credit for approved discounts that are marked as commissionable.

Commissionable Service amount = Service Sales (excluding tax) + Commissionable Discounts

Example: If a service is priced at $120, and a $20 discount is applied that is marked as commissionable, and tax is $10, then:

Commissionable service amount = 120

The tax is excluded from the calculation, and because the discount is commissionable, the commission is calculated on the full $120 rather than the discounted amount paid by the client. This means the provider earns commission based on the original service value, ensuring fair compensation even when approved promotional discounts are applied.
