Send no-show details using the No-Show template

Businesses may charge a no-show fee when guests do not come in for their pre-booked appointments. The no-show fee compensates the expenses incurred in preparing for the service for blocking a stylist's time.

Guests frequently complain about these no-show charges especially because they are not informed in advance about it.

To help businesses recover the no-show fee and to keep guests informed about these charges, businesses can send no-show alerts to guests using the No-Show template.

  1. At the organization level, click the Configuration icon.

  2. Search for and select Appointment No Show from the Notifications section.

  3. Click the Edit hyperlink.

  4. Turn on Email or Text as required. You can turn on both options too.

  5. Select the language in which to send out the communication. The default language is English.

  6. To send notifications or alerts, add them in the CC field using the Add button.

  7. Use the Plain Text box to compose the message without any formatting. This will be used if the recipient cannot receive formatted text.

  8. Use the HTML box to compose the message with formatting. You can format the message using the options on the toolbar.

  9. To personalize your communications, use macros. Each notification has an Available macros section; drag the relevant macros in the email or text as required.

  10. Click Save.
