Target Segments
Tip
A target segment is a group of customers or potential leads with shared demographics identified as the most likely buyers of a company's product or service. You can create a target segment by grouping your customers or potential customers based on their location and visits, preferred media channels, buying patterns, and spending capacity.
Zenoti provides a range of customizations to create the most effective way to reach your customers and generate business. You can create target segments at the organization, zone, or center level. The created target segments can be viewed and modified based on your access level and the level at which the segments are created.
For example, US Wellness is one of the largest spa chains in the world. There are two significant zones within which multiple spa centers are spread across cities like New York, Rio, Los Angeles, etc. If you create target segments at all three levels, some scenarios of visibility and restrictions are listed in the following table.
Created In | Visible In | Not Visible In |
New York [Center] | New York and North America | Rio and South America |
North America [Zone] | New York and US Wellness | Rio and South America |
US Wellness [Organization] | All | None |
By creating target segments, you can:
Efficiently group customers and potential customers.
Create effective discounts and custom coupons to attract your customers.
Focus on the right customers and create campaigns that motivate them to buy your product or service.
Based on the level of customization and commonly used scenarios, target segments can be created in two ways:
Target segments created using templates: Zenoti offers 11 predefined segments frequently utilized by organizations across the globe. The category, criteria, and rules are already defined in these templates. You can update field values to create a target segment.
Custom target segments: You can build a target segment from scratch using various categories such as demographics, service history, memberships, spending, and visits. The system allows you to add multiple rules for a custom target segment.
