Overview
Fitness businesses like gyms, studios, and wellness centers that offer group sessions can now fully utilize HyperConnect's class support. With classes integrated directly into the timeline view, businesses can manage sessions, track attendance, and communicate with guests, all from a centralized interface. These updates streamline operations and improve the guest experience.
Key Terms
Timeline View: The daily calendar interface within HyperConnect showing scheduled activities.
Class Roster: The screen listing all enrolled guests for a particular class.
Session: A single occurrence of a class.
Guest Status: Participation status like Registered, Signed In, Cancelled, No Show, and Waitlisted.
Prerequisites
To access class-based scheduling in the timeline:
The business must be configured as a fitness business at the organization level. Class scheduling must be enabled at the organization level.
View Classes on the Timeline
Once classes are enabled, the HyperConnect timeline displays scheduled classes alongside any existing appointments. Staff can easily filter and manage events using the following capabilities:
Real-time class statuses: Instantly view guest participation with status indicators such as Registered, Signed In, Cancelled, No Show, and Waitlisted.
Filter by session or instructor: Focus on specific classes or staff to streamline daily operations.
Manage Guest Enrollment
From the class roster screen, staff can:
Search for and manually enroll guests
Enroll guests into recurring sessions using a checkbox option.
Add multiple students individually.
Use the Class Actions Menu
Clicking the three-dot menu next to any class entry provides quick actions:
Sign In: Mark a guest as present.
Cancel: Remove guest participation.
Mark as No Show: Flag absentees.
Delete: Remove the class entirely.
Invoice Options: View, download, or email invoices directly.
Communicate with Guests
Utilize HyperConnect’s voice and SMS capabilities to stay in touch with:
Guests who have not signed in
Guests who are waitlisted or have cancelled
These tools allow staff to follow up for rescheduling or promotional opportunities, reducing no-shows and enhancing guest retention.
