Show other fee while closing the register

This article explains how Zenoti allows businesses to display Other fees during the register closure process.

Overview

As an admin, you can enable Show other fee in register closure at the organization level for all centers. Other fees represent additional charges that are not part of standard payment methods. Once enabled, other fee appears in the close payments window in the Appointment Book and register closure screen.  It also displays separately in the payment breakdown for cash, custom, and credit card transactions.

To show other fee while closing the register, follow these steps:

  1. At the organization level, click Configuration.

  2. Navigate to POS > Essentials.

  3. Switch on the Show other fee in register closure toggle.

  4. Click Save.

When enabled, the Other fee is displayed as a separate line item on the Register Closure screen. The fee is included in the register summary during closure.

When disabled, the Other fee does not appear on the Register Closure screen.

Note

The fee is visible in both old and new versions of the register closure window.
