Prepaid Cards Liability report (v2)

Center managers can use this report to view the details about the store credits the center started with, accrued, redeemed, expired, and the balance that will be carried forward in the book of accounts over the selected time period.
If you selected Liability Type as Value, the amount accrued, redeemed, or expired is the gift card's value
If you selected Liability Type as Sale Price, the amount accrued, redeemed, or expired is the gift card's sale price.
At the organization or center level, click the Reports icon.
On the Reports page, search for and select the Prepaid Cards Liability report.
If the report has many columns, scroll horizontally to the right or left to view all columns.
To view specific data on the report, select the desired filters. For more information, refer to report features on Zenoti.
Click Refresh.
If you generate the report for over a year, click the Email button.
Column | Description |
Center Name | Center in which the prepaid card was sold |
Opening Balance | Balance amount of prepaid cards that is carried forward from the previous accounting period |
Accrued/Sold | Amount of liability that is generated from prepaid card sales |
Redemptions | Amount of liability that is redeemed |
Suspense | Unused balance on the one-time use prepaid card This amount cannot be redeemed by the guest, and it is considered revenue to the business. Example: A one-time-use prepaid card is sold for $400 and the guest purchases a product worth $300 using the prepaid card, the remaining $100 is the suspense amount. |
Expired | Amount from prepaid cards that is expired |
Closing Balance | Balance amount of prepaid cards that is carried forward to the next accounting period |
