Auto-assign default service provider in booking wizard
To streamline the booking process and to reduce manual selection, Zenoti automatically assigns the first selected service provider to all subsequent services or components of a day package during a booking session. This feature simplifies service provider allocation, making it faster and more efficient for front desk staff to manage appointments.
This rule is especially useful in businesses where the same provider is preferred across multiple services in a single visit. However, it does not apply to parallel services or smart merge cases, where front desk staff must select individual providers.
To enable this setting, follow these steps:
At the organization level, click Configuration.
Navigate to Appointment and Queue Management > Bookings > Booking Rules.
Switch on the When assigning service providers in Booking Wizard, use the first service provider selected by user as default for other services and day packages toggle.
Click Save.
To disable the setting, switch off the toggle.
