Display Walk-in Appointments in Pink in the Queue View

This article explains how to enable and use the setting that displays walk-in appointments in pink within the Queue view. This allows front-desk staff to easily distinguish walk-ins from call-ahead appointments, even when the Reschedule queue based on resource availability setting is turned off.

Overview

The Queue view can visually distinguish between walk-in and call-ahead appointments only when the Reschedule queue based on resource availability setting is enabled. In such cases, walk-in appointments appear in pink, while call-ahead appointments appear in blue.

The Show walk-in appointments in pink color in the Queue view setting allows centers to view this color distinction even when Reschedule queue based on resource availability is disabled.

This enhancement helps front-desk staff quickly identify guests who are physically present (walk-ins) versus those who are scheduled (call-aheads), improving operational efficiency and reducing booking errors.

Prerequisites
  • The center must use Queue-based operations.

  • Admin-level access is required to modify center settings.

Considerations
  • The Show walk-in appointments in pink color in the Queue view setting is available only for centers that have the Queue view enabled.

  • When Reschedule queue based on resource availability is enabled, the Queue view already shows walk-ins in pink and call-aheads in blue.

Configure Walk-ins to Display in Pink
  1. At the center level, click Configuration.

  2. Navigate to Appointments and Queue Management > Queue > Display.

  3. Switch on the Show walk-in appointments in pink color in the Queue view toggle.

  4. Click Save.
