Configure gift cards
You can enable the sale of Amount, Service, and Package gift cards and configure the validity and maximum price of gift cards on your webstore.
Enable gift card type
At the organization level, click the Configuration icon.
Search for and select the Gift Cards setting from the Online booking settings section.
Click Webstore V2 > Gift Cards.
To enable the sale of amount gift cards on your Webstore, turn on the Enable Gift Cards Amounts setting.
To enable the sale of Service gift cards on your Webstore, turn on the Enable Gift Cards Services setting.
To enable the sale of Packages gift cards on your Webstore, turn on the Enable Gift Cards Packages setting.
To allow the sale of only predefined package gift cards, enable the Predefined Package GC Only setting.
Select the delivery mode for the gift card, and then click Publish.
Impacts and considerations:
Any of the specified gift card types can only be enabled if the Enable gift card setting in the Webstore's display settings is turned on.
Enable gift card delivery mode at organization level
At the organization level, click the Configuration icon.
Search for and select the Gift Cards setting from the Online booking settings section.
Click Webstore V2 > Gift Cards.
To enable the delivery of digital gift cards to the recipient's email address or phone number on your Webstore, turn on the Enable eGift Cards setting.
To enable the delivery of physical gift cards that are mailed to the recipient's address on your Webstore, turn on the Enable Shipping Gift Cards setting.
To allow guests to pickup the physical gift cards at a store location. enable the Enable Pickup Gift Cards setting.
Click Publish.
Enable gift card delivery mode at center level
At the center level, click the Configuration icon.
Search for and select the Online booking setting from the Online booking settings section.
Navigate to Online Booking Setup.
To use the same organization level setting, select the Apply same settings as defined under organization catalog - V2 settings checkbox.
To enable the delivery of physical gift cards that are mailed to the recipient's address on your Webstore, turn on the Enable Shipping Gift Cards setting.
To allow guests to pickup the physical gift cards at a store location. enable the Enable Pickup Gift Cards setting.
Click Publish.
Allow guests to continue without login
At the organization level, click the Configuration icon.
Search for and select the Gift Cards setting from the Online booking settings section.
Click Webstore V2 > Gift Cards.
To allow your guests to purchase gift cards without logging in, turn on the Enable continue as guest (No login required) setting.
Click Publish.
Enable tips with service and package gift card
While purchasing a gift card guests can also pay a tip amount ensuring that the person who receives the gift card can redeem services and need not worry about paying a tip after taking the services.
At the organization level, click the Configuration icon.
Search for and select the Gift Cards setting from the Online booking settings section.
Click Webstore V2 > Gift Cards.
To enable the delivery of digital gift cards to the recipient's email address or phone number on your Webstore, enable the Ask for tips with service and package gift cards setting.
Provide the other relevant details such as the suggested tip in percentage, label, and the help text for the tip.
Click Publish.
Impacts and considerations
You can override the Ask for tips with service and package gift cards setting at the center level.
Update gift card banner
At the organization level, click the Configuration icon.
Search for and select the Gift Cards setting from the Online booking settings section.
Click Webstore V2 > Gift Cards.
To update the bonus gift card banner, in the Bonus Gift Card Banner field paste the banner image URL.
Click Publish.
Update gift card images
At the organization level, click the Configuration icon.
Search for and select the Gift Cards setting from the Online booking settings section.
Click Webstore V2 > Gift Cards.
To update the gift card images, in the Giftcard Default Preview Image field paste the image URL
Click Publish.
Enable custom amount for gift cards
At the organization level, click the Configuration icon.
Search for and select the Gift Cards setting from the Online booking settings section.
Click Webstore V2 > Gift Cards.
To allow your guests to decide the price of the gift card and purchase such custom gift cards, turn on the Enable Custom Amounts for Giftcards setting.
To allow the center-level expiry date setting for custom amount gift cards to take precedence over the organization-level setting, enable the Honor Center level expiry date setting for Custom amount gift cards setting.
To define the validity of the gift card in days, enter the number of days in the Custom days field.
To specify the minimum price of a custom gift card that your guest can purchase on Webstore, enter the value in the Minimum Price for a Custom GiftCard field.
To specify the maximum price of a custom gift card that your guest can purchase on Webstore, enter the value Maximum Price for a Custom GiftCard field.
Click Publish.
Hide occasion and style for physical gift card
At the organization level, click the Configuration icon.
Navigate to Online booking > Online booking settings.
Click Webstore V2 > Gift Cards.
To hide style and occasion selection options for guests while purchasing physical gift cards on webstore, enable the Hide occasion and style for physical gift card setting.
To set a default occasion for physical gift card, from the list of active occasions select an option.
Click Publish.
