Configure referral program

This article explains how to configure the Referral Program in Zenoti, including setting up referral pages for existing guests, referee landing pages for new guests, and referral promotion banners displayed across the Webstore. It also explains where and how images used in the referral program can be added, replaced, or updated.

Overview

The Referral Program in Zenoti allows your existing guests to refer friends or family to your business and earn rewards. By enabling and configuring this program, you can acquire new customers through trusted recommendations while reinforcing your brand across the online booking journey. As part of the referral setup, you can customize:

Referral program pages shown to existing guests
Landing pages shown to referred guests
Promotion banners displayed across the Webstore
Images and messaging that support your referral campaigns

Key Terms

Referral Program: A marketing feature that allows guests to refer others and earn rewards.
Referrer: An existing guest who shares a referral.
Referee: A new guest who receives and uses a referral.
Promotion Banner: A banner image displayed on key Webstore pages.

Enable the referral program page

The Referral Program page appears in the guest profile for existing customers. This page explains the referral offer and allows guests to share referral links or promo codes.

When a guest clicks a referral link, the link redirects to the referrer’s center. The referral landing page displays that center’s referral program, rewards, and applicable terms and conditions, and the experience remains within that center throughout the journey. When the referred guest completes sign-up, the guest profile is created in the referrer’s center, ensuring accurate referral attribution and correct reward eligibility.

At the organization level, click Configuration.
Navigate to Online Booking > Online booking settings > Webstore > Referral Program > Referral Page.
In Menu Title, enter the title that appears as a section on the guest profile.
In the Promotion Header field, enter the text that will appear on the header of the referral program page of the guest profile.
In the Promotion Description field, enter a brief description of the referral program that will appear below the Promotion Header text.
Upload an image that will appear on the Referral Program page of the guest profile.
The recommended image resolution is 480 × 350 pixels, and the file size should be under 500 KB.
In the How it Works field, enter the steps explaining how guests share promo codes and earn credits.
Enter the title and description for the steps.
Optionally, if you have an existing Terms and Conditions URL, enter the URL in the Link to Terms and Conditions field.
Click Publish.

Enable and manage the referral promotion banner

The promotion banner appears on the Webstore home page, Appointment Confirmation page, and Feedback Confirmation page.

Add or upload a new banner image

At the organization level, click the Configuration icon.
Navigate to Online Booking > Online booking settings > Webstore > Referral Program > Promotion Banner.
Upload a banner image that will appear on the home page, the Appointment Confirmation page, and on the Feedback Confirmation page of the Webstore.
The recommended resolution of the image should be 480 x 300 pixels and should be less than 500 KB in size.
Click Publish.

Replace an existing banner image

If the new image already exists in the Image Gallery:

Navigate to Online Booking > Online Booking Settings > Webstore V2 > Referral Program > Promotion Banner.
Open the Image Gallery.
Select the image and click Copy Link.
Paste the copied link into the Side Banner / Image URL field (if applicable).
Click Publish.

Enable the referee landing page

The referee landing page is displayed to new guests who click a referral link. This page explains the offer and guides them on how to claim their reward.

At the organization level, click the Configuration icon.
Navigate to Online Booking > Online booking settings > Webstore > Referral Program > Promotion Banner.
Upload a background image for the landing page.
The recommended resolution of the image should be 1440 X 480 pixels and should be less than 500 KB in size.
Enter a header title for the landing page.
Enter a brief description of what the guest needs to do on this page in the Promotion & Brief Business Description field.
Enter a label for the button present on this page in the Action Text field.
Enter the steps on how your new guests claim their rewards in the How it Works field.
Click Publish.
