View the list of products purchases

The Product tab displays the history of all purchases by a guest. You can also refund or exchange a product from here.

Refund a product

  1. From the guest profile, go to the Products tab.

  2. Click the Refund icon.

  3. Select the item, enter the refund amount, and add a comment.

  4. Click Proceed to refund.

  5. Select the payment type and enter the refund amount.

  6. Click Refund.

  7. Click Process Refund & Close Invoice.

Exchange a product

  1. In the Exchange column, against the product being returned, click the Exchange icon.

    Ensure the returned product name is correct. Unit price of the product sold is shown within parentheses.

  2. Quantity (of the returning product): Enter the number of units of the product the guest is exchanging.

  3. Restock Quantity: Enter the quantity to be added back to stock.

  4. Enter the name of the product the guest would like to buy in an exchange. The price and the applicable tax for just one unit of the selected product appears.

  5. Quantity (of the new product): Enter the number of units of the product the guest would like to buy.

  6. Sale by: Select the name of the employee who is processing the exchange.

  7. Click Exchange.

Note

  • If the replacement product costs less than the product being returned, a prepaid card (PPC) is generated for the balance amount.  For example, a product worth $100 is exchanged for a product worth $50, a PPC of $50 is issued.

  • If the replacement product is of equal or higher value, no PPC is issued. For example, a product worth $100 is exchanged for a product worth $150, no PPC is issued.

View invoice and take payment

From the Invoice No column, click the link in the relevant row to make a sale, take payment, refund, reopen, void, exchange product, and edit commissions.

View product details

Click the product link.

View sales invoice of the refunded product

To view the sales invoices, from the Sales Invoice column, click the link in the relevant row.
