Same Day Tips Adoption Report
This article explains how to use the Same Day Tips Adoption report to track which employees are set up to receive same-day tip payouts thorugh Zenoti Wallet. This report displays wallet application progress, current adoption status and employee participation preferences, and detailed banking card information (based on role permissions). You can also manage opt-inand opt-out actions directly from the report.
Overview
Use this report to:
Monitor employee adoption of same-day tips through Zenoti Wallet.
Track wallet application progress and card issuance.
Review opt-in or opt-out status for each employee.
View sensitive wallet and banking details (if authorized).
What this report shows
This report includes the following information:
Column Name | Description |
---|---|
Adoption Status | Indicates if the employee has opted in to receive Same Day Tips through the Zenoti Wallet. |
Wallet Application Status | Shows the current status of the employee’s wallet application such as Submitted, Approved, Pending. |
Wallet Account Details | Displays wallet-related information, including upgrade status and account readiness. |
Opt-in / Opt-out Control | Allows managers or business users to update employee participation directly from the report. |
Virtual Card | Shows the status of the virtual Smart Card such as Not Created, Activated with last 4 digits. |
Physical Card | Indicates whether a physical card has been created or shipped such as Not Created, Shipped XXXX. |
Employment Start Date | The employee’s date of joining the center. Helps align wallet application with onboarding. |
Account Upgrade Status | Indicates whether the wallet has been upgraded to enable broader financial functions. |
Last Updated On (Opt-in/Opt-out) | Date and time when the opt-in or opt-out action was last changed for the employee. |
Bank Account Status | Displays the status of the bank account connected to the Zenoti Wallet such as Active. |
Bank Account Holder Name | Name of the account holder as provided during wallet registration. |
SSN | The last four digits of the Social Security Number used for identity verification. |
Bank Account Number | The full or masked bank account number linked to the wallet (visible only with permission). |
Routing Number | The routing number of the bank account tied to the Zenoti Wallet. |
Bank Account Name | The name of the financial institution where the account is held. |
Bank Account Type | Type of account such as PersonalChecking connected to the Zenoti Wallet. |
Note
Columns containing sensitive data such as SSN, bank account number, routing number are only visible to users with the appropriate permissions.
Understanding payout statuses
Each employee in the Same Day Tips Adoption report will have one of the following statuses based on their Zenoti Wallet onboarding progress and preferences:
Status | Description |
---|---|
Active | The employee completed onboarding. The wallet is active and ready to receive same-day tips. |
Application Under Review | The application was submitted and is under bank review. The employee may need to provide additional documents such as a valid ID or proof of address. Roughly 10–15% of applications fall into this category due to data mismatches. |
Application Declined | The bank declined the application due to issues like mismatched or missing information. The employee can reapply with correct documentation. |
Application Not Submitted | The employee has not started the wallet application. They must apply to receive same-day tips. |
Employee Opted Out | The employee chose not to participate. Tips are instead paid through payroll or in cash. This option is relevant for businesses that accumulate tips until the wallet is set up. |
Blocked | The bank blocked the wallet due to issues such as suspected fraud. The employee cannot receive payouts until the issue is resolved. |
How to use the report
Go to Reports > Employees > Tips Payout Adoption.
Apply filters to select a center or specific employees.
Review the Payout Status column to understand each employee’s wallet status.
Use the action options in the report to opt-in or opt-out employees.
Note
Ensure your role includes the MyZen Tips Adoption Report permission and Access Zenoti Wallet Bank Account Details permission to view account details.
Only authorized roles can see full routing and account numbers as account details are hidden by default.
This is helpful for businesses that want to set up Zenoti Wallets as direct deposit accounts for payroll.

Note
Only authorized roles should be granted access to bank account information.
Example use cases
A business wants to check which employees have completed wallet onboarding.
A center manager needs to opt-in new employees or process opt-out requests.
A payroll admin configures Zenoti Wallet as a direct deposit account and retrieves routing/account data securely.
