Make a sale in ZMA v1

When a guest walks in to purchase only a retail item
  1. From the bottom bar, tap POS.

  2. In the right-hand top corner of the screen, tap the + icon.

  3. Search for the guest or enter the guest’s details to add the guest.

  4. To add an item, next to the item name, tap the + icon, and then tap Proceed.

  5. To select the salesperson’s name, tap the Edit icon, from the Sold By list, select the seller, and then tap Save.

  6. Tap Take Payment and collect the payment.

  7. Close the invoice.

When the guest is checking out after an appointment
  1. In the Appointment Book, tap the guest's appointment.

  2. From the Appointment Details window, tap +Add More.

  3. To add an item, next to the item name, tap the + icon, and then tap Proceed.

  4. To select the salesperson’s name, tap the Edit icon, from the Sold By list, select the seller, and then tap Save.

  5. Tap Take Payment and collect the payment.

  6. Close the invoice.

Product

  1. After step 3, tap the Product tab.

  2. Search for and select the product. Alternatively, tap the bar code scanner to scan the bar code to add the product.

  3. To increase the quantity and enter the seller's name, tap the Edit icon, make the necessary modifications, and then tap Save.

  4. Continue to step 4.

Package

  1. After step 3, tap the Package tab.

  2. Select the package.

  3. Continue to step 4.

If you are unable to select a package, reach out to your store manager.

You can create payment schedules for series packages from the date of sale.

Only series packages are supported in Zenoti Mobile v1.

Membership

  1. After step 3, tap the Membership tab.

  2. From the Membership list, select the membership.

    For a recurring membership, pick the date for the first payment. The current date is selected by default. You can change the bill date for the future, but the invoice cannot be closed till the future date.

  3. For the membership added, tap Review Membership Forms.

  4. Against each form, tap Open.

    1. Hand over the device to the guest.

    2. Request them to go through the terms and conditions.

    3. Ask them to select the I agree to the terms and conditions option.

    4. Request the guest to sign below the acceptance text and tap Proceed.

  5. Continue to step 4.

Bill date can be a future date, except for recurring memberships.

Memberships with setup will have two invoices: one for the setup fee and the other for the first membership due.

If the first charge is paid using prepaid or gift cards, the default payment mode for the next drafts becomes cash.

Prepaid card

  1. After step 3, tap the Prepaid Card tab.

  2. Enter the price.

  3. To pick an expiry date, tap the calendar icon. Alternatively, in the Expiry Days box, enter the number of days in which the card will expire.

  4. Continue to step 4,

The value of the card is auto-calculated, and it appears in the Value box. To edit the value, tap in the Value box. To sell a prepaid card with a value higher than the price, you must enter your credentials. If you are unable to authorize the sale, reach out to your manager.

In the Notes box, enter any information related to this card. You can see this information on the guest's profile under the Prepaid Cards tab.

To allow one-time redemption of the prepaid card, select the One time use checkbox. Any balance, after the card is used for the first time, expires automatically.

Gift card

  1. After step 3, tap the Gift Card tab.

  2. In the Card# box, enter the gift card number.

  3. Enter the price, expiry date, and recipient details.

  4. Add any notes related to the sale. The notes entered here will appear in the Gift Card tab in the guest profile.

  5. Select the recipient of the gift card. To add the gift card for another guest, select the existing guest or add a new guest.

  6. Tap Add.

  7. Continue to step 4.

To send the gift card to the guest over an email, select the Send an email to recipient checkbox.

To allow one-time redemption of the gift card, select the One time use checkbox. Any balance, after the card is used for the first time, expires automatically.

Service

  1. After step 3, tap the Service tab.

  2. Search for and select the service.

  3. Enter the quantity.

  4. Select the name of the therapist.

  5. Select the service time.

    The end time is auto-calculated based on the service duration.

  6. Continue to step 4.
