Employee - Attendance Details report (org level)
The Employee Attendance Details report at the organization level helps you track the attendance details for all employees on a day-to-day basis in the selected time period. Navigation To run the report, follow these steps:
At the organization level, click the Reports icon.
On the Reports Dashboard, click Employee > Time.
From the reports list, select Attendance Details.
Select the filter criteria and click Refresh to view the report. Notes: 1. To export the report, click the Excel or CSV icons.
Best Practice: Export the report to view more details in the report- the UI may show fewer columns.
Filters
Criteria | Options | Description |
Time Period | - This Month - Custom | Lets you view the report for the current month. Select Custom to select a date range. : For custom dates, you can view data for a maximum date range of 6 months at a time. Example: If you wish to see data from January to August, first view data from January to June and then view data from July to August. |
Show Work Task Check-In Details | Lets you filter the report based on the work task related details of employees. NoteYou can see this filter only if the Enable Work Tasks org-level setting is enabled. Administrators define work tasks such as Trainer, Mentor, or Event Host for tasks that employees undertake beyond their principal job or task. |
Column descriptions
You can see the following columns of you have not selected the Show Work Task Check-In Details checkbox while generating the report.
Column | Description |
Code | The unique identifier of the employee. |
Employee | The name of the employee. |
Date | The attendance date – the dates appear in a sequence. |
Base Center | The name of the center to which the employee belongs. This is the home center of the employee. You can see different center names for the same employee if the employee was on loan to a center other than the base center in the specified time period. |
Work Center | The name of the center where the employee worked. This center may be different from the base center for days when an employee was on loan to another center in the selected time period. |
Status | The employee status such as Working, Not Scheduled, or Holiday based on the employee’s schedule. ImportantAny leave type that you define in Organization level > Employee > Settings > Leave Types appear here as status. Example: Maternity Leave, Paternity Leave, Thanksgiving, Jury Duty. |
Expected Checkin | The time the employee was expected to check-in based on the employee schedule. For example, the employee was expected to check-in at 8 am. |
Expected Checkout | The time the employee was expected to check out based on the employee’s schedule. For example, the employee was expected to check out at 4 pm. |
Actuals | The actual time when the employee checked in and checked out. For example, the employee checked in at 8.45 am and checked out at 5 pm. |
Attendance Rule | The attendance rule applied. This column gives you the details depending on the attendance rules that have been defined for a working day, early checkout, or late check-in. For example, this column displays the attendance rule applied such as Half Day, Leaving Early, Late by 1 hour. NoteYou can define attendance rules in Employee > Settings > Attendance Rules > Rule Name. |
Scheduled Hours | The total number of scheduled hours the employee is expected to work in the selected time period on a particular day based on the expected check-in and checkout for the day. NoteEach row corresponds to data for a single day. |
Actual Hours | The total number of actual hours based on the actual check-in and checkout of the employee for a particular day. Therefore, this includes overtime hours during the selected time period. NoteThe hours in this column match the Actual Hours (without Block Outs) column of the Employee Attendance Summary report. |
Comments | Shows the comments the front-desk staff or administrator entered while checking in/checking out the employee. |
Notes | The notes entered for the employee on the Employee Schedule page. |
Keyword | The keyword from the employee profile (Employee profile > General > Preferences). |

Work Task | The work task that the employee spent time on such as Trainer or Mentor. |
Actual Hours | The actual number of hours the employee spent. |
Comments | The comments the front-desk staff or administrator entered while checking in/checking out the employee. |
