Net Service Sales
Net Service Sales in ezPulse represents the total revenue generated from Service and Membership item types after accounting for all applicable deductions. This metric reflects the true earned value from service-related transactions by excluding discounts, loyalty point redemptions, and refunds.
It helps you understand how much actual revenue your business retained from services, giving a clear picture of the performance of your service category, excluding all adjustments.
Example: If your business performs three service transactions in a day, a haircut for $100 with a $10 discount and $5 loyalty redemption, a facial for $120 with a $10 loyalty redemption, and a gold membership sale for $200 with a $50 refund, the calculation would be:
Haircut = $100 - $10 (discount) - $5 (loyalty redemption) = $85
Facial = $120 - $10 (loyalty redemption) = $110
Membership = $200 - $50 (refund) = $150
Total Net Service Sales $ = $85 + $110 + $150 = $345
This means your Net Service Sales for the day is $345, representing your true earnings from service and membership sales after all deductions and refunds.
