Set up QR code scanners
QR code check-in is a common method for member check-ins at many fitness studios. Members present their check-in QR code from the studio's app at the front desk. The front desk staff then scans the code using the Zenoti Mobile Application (ZMA), promptly displaying the check-in status on the screen. This information is accessible via the Visits page within ZMA or through the check-in widget and Visits page on the web interface.
Enable QR code scanning for your studio
Required roles: Owner or Administrator
Required permissions: None
At the organization level, click the Configurations icon.
Search for and select the Enabled QR Code Scanning for Visits Check In setting from the Fitness section.
Enable this setting.
Click Save.
Enable audio notifications for check-ins
Sound notifications provide immediate feedback to users, confirming that an action has been completed or notifying them of issues that require attention, especially in situations where visual cues may be missed or when the device is not in direct view. You can enable sound notifications when a guest checks in for your fitness center.
At the center level, click the Configurations icon.
Search for and select the Enable sound for checkins setting from the Fitness section.
Enable this setting.
Click Save.
The sound for successful check-ins differs from error messages and unsuccessful notifications, making interpretation easier.
