Manage prepaid card deposits for guests

In Zenoti, prepaid cards can only be redeemed under the same guest profile that originally purchased the gift card. The system will not allow a direct transaction from a prepaid card if an appointment is booked under one guest's name but the card deposit is owned or purchased by a different guest profile.

However, as a workaround, you can use the prepaid card to purchase a gift card under the new guest profile. Please consider taxes and other fees associated with your business or region that may reflect as a difference in the final amount after the conversion. For example, If Guest A booked an appointment for Guest B and the gift card deposit is under Guest A's profile, follow these steps:

  1. Open the POS for Guest A's profile.

  2. Sell a gift card to Guest B using the prepaid card from Guest A's profile.

  3. Apply the gift card under Guest B's profile to pay for their booking or appointment.
