The FDO can manually remove this discount from the POS if required. In case of a conflict, the most recently created or updated discount takes precedence. This applies to memberships, services, products, and day and series packages.
For the Discount application method setting, select one of the following options.
Item-level discount, cannot be combined with other discounts
Apply a discount to an item in an invoice containing multiple items. Different discounts that are valid can also be applied to other items.
You purchase three services: Body Massage, Golden Facial, and Hair Color. Discount A is applicable for Golden Facial and Hair Color services. You have another discount (Discount B) that you can apply for Body Massage. With this option, you can apply Discount A to both Golden Facial and Hair Color services and apply Discount B to the Body Massage service.
Item-level discount, can be combined with other similar discounts
Apply multiple discounts to either the same or various items in an invoice.
A guest purchases three services: Body Massage, Golden Facial, and Hair Color. You create Discount A that is applicable for Golden Facial service. Additionally, a promotion offers a 20% discount on facial services. You can apply both the discounts (the promotional discount for facial services and Discount A) on the Golden Facial service.
Invoice-level discount, cannot be combined with other discounts
Except for manual discounts, no other discounts can be applied to the invoice. Only discounts of this type can be automatically applied, and this type is selected automatically when you check the Auto-apply on POS box.
A guest purchases three services: Body Massage, Golden Facial, and Hair Color. You create Discount A that applies to Golden Facial and Hair Color services. Similarly, another Discount B can be applied for Body Massage. You can either apply Discount A to both Golden Facial and Hair Color services or Discount B to the Body Massage service, but not both.
